Ncbrock,
You might want to check with Spacecruisers first on that air intake boot.
My van's due for smog, but running great.
Spacecruisers might need it to pass smog, so I'll defer that to him if necessary.

Thanks

Is the van a 2 or 4WD?

I might actually just get one new for the extra 20$. Thanks for the opportunity to let me grab it first though!

No the boots are the same, I was asking because he mentioned the available van and offered to pic and ship small parts. I am looking for 4wd parts and NC is a lot closer to me than CA

Looks like you can still get this part from Toyota . Amazing its not discontinued

Just last month I placed an order with ToyotaPartsDeals for some bushings, 2 days later they sent an Email saying one of the bushing was NLA! At least unlike RockAuto you can and should call prior placing the order. Any way, I wasted 2 days, I do call every time now and pay with a credit card just to be sure.

I actually ended up buying a 90deg and 45deg silicone intake hose and an aluminum tube to join the two. going to cut a hole and add a grommet/silicone to stick the tee thingy into. cost was about $45. ill probably make a thread on doing this since this part is expensive and seems to be running out of stock.

ncbrock all cleaned up boot, with the proper clamps and T connector looks like a cheap and easier deal by the day! Add to it the factory (not messed with) look and it's a winner I would jump on if I didn't have a spare already.

My van passed smog yesterday (Woo Hoo!), so I don't need the intake boot.
Thanks!
P.S. The smog guy went to the front of my van and said: "Can you pop the hood?"

price lowered to $40 shipped since these are available new now.
hey just wondering if this was still for sale?? Lol know it’s an old post, but I just bought a 1987 van and am dealing with a cracked hose
Have any luck finding one? Mine is currently held together with glue and electrical tape. Just browsing the forums to see what I can find or if there is anything similar that will work with a little DIY.
I’m also looking for one for my 1989 4x4. Any leads on where to purchase one? Also, I’m looking for a sunshade. Thank you.
