I am looking for a replacement o-ring where the oil cooler meets the oil filter pedestal. Does anyone know where to get one or even the part number? I have tried a few dealers and no one seems to know what i am talking about.

Its for an 89 4x4 auto.

Thanks
Kevin

I just looked this up in the EPC and although they show the oil cooler & hoses, they do not show a gasket or o-ring between it and the filter base (engine side). Could it be possible a standard oil filter o-ring would work here? I don't know as I've never messed with one of these oil coolers. Tim

Unfortunately it has this lip on it that makes it hard to use something common.

Seems very odd this isn't listed or shown in the EPC. I have purchased complete 4y gasket kits from Toyota & don't recall ever seeing that in the kit either. For complete kits, typically they give you everything that was ever used (even the optional stuff). If you're not using the van for off-road stuff, I would probably just delete that thing by looping he coolant lines together or simply let it hang there. You can screw the oil filter directly to the base (at least until you can find a suitable gasket). Wish I had a better answer for you. Tim

try 90301-61004 from the mini truck, or 90301-61003 from the JDM 2C-T diesel
seems to be close matches since they use the same oil filter sizes
