Maggie has been getting about 28-30 mpg, the best I've gotten between fill-ups is 31 mpg. So....

About 7.4-7.9 miles per liter, with the upper echelon falling in at about 8.19 Mile per liter.

As an estimate this is for about 20% urban, 80% motorway....that being said I am generally either driving to the Oregon coast or to central Oregon so quite a bit of up and down on some pretty steep slogs. Not bad.

i just did a reasonable amount of miles on tour over the past two weeks (1973 miles) in a wide range of environments, wet , warm, cold, up and down some often large hills up to about 4000ft and freewheeling down them :-) and kept all the receipts.

i used 259.79 litres of regular diesel on mixed highway, town, country roads.
MPG works out using 3.8L per US GAL : 28.17
using 4.546L per UK GAL = 34.53
miles per litre = 7.6L

I was not trying to be economical , just driving normally. infact 650 of them i did yesterday with my foot mostly close to the floor, so the figure underlines average driving.
loaded with 550Lb including camping gear and two people..
the figure is near to others so i guess its good for consistency.
