I just got done putting the engine back in my 1991 AWD (all trac) Previa.
I always loved this thing, but these days you need keyless control.
What's the consensus on the best solution for the following, in order of importance.
Primarily, keyless entry, lock/unlock.
alarm/security.
Possibly, remote start, maybe.
Thanks a bunch everyone

"these days you need keyless control."
I can live without keyless control, but I'm addicted to bluetooth.

Ok, I get that. I just got a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) or Bluetooth "smart" compatible cell phone to operate my Ditto device. This has led me to be sensitive to (require) the use of BLE.
What products use BLE to lock/unlock the van?

Hmmm... I've learned two things from this thread already. Bluetooth Smart (same as BLE) and the "Ditto". Cool.
I could be justifiably classified as an old fart, so I don't follow this kind of thing as closely as I might. I'm more into yestertech, I have to admit. But I like mixing the two.
Bluetooth-based keyless auto products appear to be around the corner, if they aren't out there already. Here's one (http://completelykeyless.com/) that appears to be trying to hatch, but I bet you found that as easily as I did just by searching "bluetooth keyless"
