Remove non working AUTO HUBS?

hi.

I purchased, cleaned and rebuilt a set of used AISIN manual locking hubs.
I went to install them and i couldnt remove the center BOLT and WASHER bc the axle spun freely. I attempted to put the van in 4WD mode (lights goes green) but they dont seem to be locking.

If my AUTO HUB clutch is wasted, how do i remove them if i cant get them to lock and remove the center bolt?

That center bolt is only torqued to like 13 ft lbs so it shouldn't take much to loosen it. Try having someone hold the axle shaft from behind the knuckle. If you're having trouble use a strap wrench or something similar just don't grab around the cv boot. Worst case you could grab the shaft with channel locks or vice grips but it's likely to come loose if someone just holds it with their bare hands.
