Cost is high, but considering these are NLA they might be worth snatching up. Looks like they have 2 left. Tim

BTW, these are for automatic transmissions (which means they will work in all 4wd vans auto & manual 87 - 89)

I just bit (one only, because it sounded too good to be true), and here's what I got:
"Thank you for your purchase. As stated in the listing, this item is NOT in stock. It is listed with a 5 day handling time which allows us to source the part for you. We source the item from multiple sources around the country. When the part is located it will be shipped directly to you on or before the stated handling time. At times, a part may be out of production or on national back order. If this situation occurs, a full refund will be promptly issued. If you have any questions or concerns about this process, please feel free to message us directly."
I bet I end up with a refund ... oh, well.

That's playing dirty. Any Toyota parts person can check his/her computer for national dealer inventory levels & source the same way. The thing is, Toyota parts people are saying these radiators are NLA. So what about the "quantity: 2" they have in their listing? That's like saying "I got 2 sitting here"........very shady indeed. I rarely use eBay anymore due to not getting what's promised. The same stuff is happening more and more at Amazon now too. I'm hoping you get one (or at least your money back). Please let us know what happens. Tim

I just checked the listing and see it's been ended with the statement "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available." Next to the price it says "1 sold" (must have been the one you purchased). Tim

Aaaand here's what I got:
Hello,
I just wanted to email you and give you an update on your
purchase. So our store in Ebay is based off of inventory we carry in our
warehouse along with inventory we order from our local dealers. This
happens to be a part that we would order from a dealer, that's why in the
listing it states a 5 day handling time. Unfortunately, Our dealers have
told us that Toyota no longer makes it and there is none of these in stock
anywhere! I am going to issue you a refund and I apologize for this
inconvenience. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help or
if you have any further questions. Once again, I am sorry for this.
Thank you

I don't understand what the seller gains by even listing this, nor how they generated the 4WD radiator part number as something to consider listing for sale to begin with ...

Gwen,
I thought for sure you were gonna get that "last" radiator cause it was kinda like when I stumbled on the last Upper Left Arm for 4WD vans and then that listing was no where to be found after got the last one.
almost like they were doing some spring cleaning in the warehouse and just happen to find 1-2 parts on the shelf that were forgotten about.:?:

Yeah, I was hoping. I have one spare, but would be more comfortable having another.

The reason given for ending auction should have been "This listing was ended by the seller because the item was NEVER available." At least you got your money back. Tim

:whs:
I was pretty sure that's how it would turn out when I looked at the seller neutral and negative feedback ... but because even the negatives said money was refunded, I took the chance that I'd get a radiator instead. I'll be adding more negative feedback shortly.
