My wife was on me because the sliding door didn't catch at the rear usually. She was having a hard time closing it, and started to have the kids pile through the front seats to the rear to avoid the slider.

Looking on here, I found the PEX fix for the middle runner. Bought the PEX, popped the door off in seconds, and replaced the worn/missing bushings.

Door wouldn't close.

Looked for for any and all obstructions, but it just seemed the middle roller wasn't turning the corner to draw in the rear.

Noticed that the door seemed a bit low at the rear edge, so we adjusted it up (lowered the guide).

Seemed better, but it actually was worse. Now it was hard to open, though it was getting closer to closing.

Adjusted the middle guide forward in the door a bit, and lo and behold, the door shut fine.

My wife didn't seem all that impressed.

I meant to add that I found a very easy way to remove the door, helper needed.

The trim piece at the end of the middle track just prises out; no need to remove any inner panel or bolt. I used a nylon trim tool. Straight out away from the car. There's a clip near the front and one diner the back.

The little white piece in the track does NOT slide out to the rear as shown in the Haynes. Slide it forward first, then lift it off the post.

Open the door and look in the bottom track, lifting up the rubber seal a little. There's a notch in the rail that lets you access a bolt that holds the spring to keep the door open. It looks like a bent strip of metal, not a coiled spring. Remove them. My spring appears to have the end broken off.

Ok. The person in front pulls the bottom roller using the notch. Then do the same thing with the top roller. Then walk the door back until the middle roller slides out the end of the track.

That's it--a trim piece, a clip, and a bolt with its spring.
