Looking for a rf brake caliper for a 4WD - actually I only need the saddle.
Got some a/m rebuilds that came with saddles but are clearly for a 4runner or something with 1in larger rotors so no glory on the saddle.
Threads are stripped in the saddle and while I could try to have a machine shop do something I am not fond of heli-coils in high load applications and am worried that a weld/tap would not be as strong as original.
Thanks

For the sake of clarity I believe you are talking about the torque plate for the RF caliper Toyota part #47707‑28040 (see picture below).

I seriously doubt these will come with torque plates, but RockAuto.com (http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php) has the calipers for $26.79. Tim
PS: I understand your hesitance towards helicoils..........to be honest I'd probably avoid them here as well, but in my experience (assuming they are installed correctly) they are just as good, possibly even stronger than the original threads. If you are unable to find good used ones, Toyota sells them for about $100 (assuming they are still available).
I bought a pair of "beck arnley" brand calipers from Rock Auto and they came with the mounts. I'm not sure if the other brands they carry include them or not. I still have my good cores. If you need one send me an email parts@yubacitytoyota.com with your zip code and we'll work out the details. I am set up with paypal.

Thanks for the offer NEC, unfortunately I didn't see your reply, for some reason??
I ended up repairing the saddle I have, red loctite and heli-coils.
No issue torquing to spec, so I think I may be good to go.
