i had it earlier but now can't find the thread about which hubs are interchangeable with the '89. after reading it I found some 28 spline aisin manual locking on CL but he doesn't know what they came off of. anyway to tell if they fit?

That one you posted is different and I think it's for the 95'-01' Toyota Tacoma or older pickup the one you wanna check out is-

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Warn-28761-Premium-Manual-Locking-Hubs-Chrome-Plated-Aluminum-Qty-2-26-Spline-/400894943920?fits=Make%3AToyota%7CModel%3AVan&hash=item5d573362b0:g:664AAOSwpDdVGUIr&vxp=mtr

I'm not sure about this seller but check out Summit Racing.

GULP! Got anything in the $50-$75 range? I'm just a peasant farmer. :violn: i looked at these but the thread suggested the aisin originals were perfect for the price.

Hmmmm farming in Reno?? I guess farming cactus isn't as lucrative as I imagined??? :roflmao:

I'm just joking:thmbup:

Im not even sure what the OEM hubs look like let alone be able to find them in working order, I've read thread that the Warn hubs are the most preferred and if you look at the Warn hub it says they're a 26 spline and the ones you're inquiring about are 28 spline.... I'm not sure which spline size is the correct one but it says the Warn hub fits.

Call and double check first before going any further, nothing worst then getting the wrong part:no: Also check the forum for any threads.

good luck and keep us posted.

The Aisin hubs are superior to Warn in many ways. Here's a thread that discusses swap and interchange. http://www.toyotavantech.com/forum/showthread.php?574-Wheel-noise I searched for "locking hubs".

I think any 86-95 hubs will work. Mine came off of an 87 and they just basically swapped out with no problems.
