I would appreciate if anyone could tell me if either or both
differentials on the 1995 Toyota Previa LE All-Trac are LSD
(limited slip differential). Otherwise, can they be upgraded
to (or replaced with) limited slip differentials from other
Toyota 4WD/AWD vehicles?
Many thanks,
Deep Blue

Generally not. I believe they were not options for Previas in the US. Standard are open diffs. I transplanted a torsen from a Toyota Altezza into my Previa.Search the forum and consult with TheMan... he gave me the idea and he has a thread on it somewhere. Like him, I imported the LSD from Japan, lucky to have a friend that bought it on auction, removed from case and sent it to me.I think there is a detroit or something like it available too. BTW, the AWD transfer case has a viscous coupling that acts as a limited slip between front and rear output shafts.
