the window mount was broken in my van. 4530 it was broken and so only one mount was working with the power window elevator frame so eventually the power window motor got weak and couldn't lift the window anymore and was broken. to test the power window motor you need an ohm meter reader to read if the window motor still has power. I don't know how to read the ohm reader so don't ask.

to remove the door panel you need to find three screws that are hidden below the panel like the one in the picture. then you can pry the door panel off and it will not break. it is attached with some plastic looking things. 4534.
to change the power window motor you need to take out the bolt screws attached to the door. remember where each one is. they are the only screw bolts in the door once you remove the panel. it will be difficult to see but the farthest screw bolt to the right that is beside the opening used to take out things inside the door will give you a good reference how to return the window elevator frame inside the door.

from there the window elevator frame will collapse into a small fold. there is a narrow opening that once you have taken out the screw bolts that you can get the window elevator frame once you have folded it straight so that it is slim and you can get it out the narrow opening in the door.

from there you can see the power window motor attached to the frame with three screws. take them out and change your window motor with one you have. you can find them online. if you get one that doesn't fit into the window elevator frame then you can use the dremel or dreel to cut pieces of it off until it fits nicely in the window elevator frame. warning, don't cut off pieces of the motor that you obviously can see is part of the motor. when I say cut some pieces I meant around whatever is making it not fit properly in the window elevator frame. this takes focus. I bought a replacement motor and the electrical pieces didn't fit. so you have to cut the electrical that don't fit and reattach the old snapping in piece to the piece it was in before when being used. you can buy electrical cutter tool and connector to make the power window connectors work.45364537

so I had to order new window mounts for the window. when you goto the toyota dealership they do not sell the window mounts by themselves so you have to look online and on ebay you can find the window mounts for the window. they are very difficult to find if you don't use the internet. I bought two window mounts if you type in "toyota previa window clip mounts" or "toyota previa window mounts" in search engine. 4531

from there you need to cut off the old window mount from the window with a dreel or dremel. the silver piece needs to be attached to the dremel or dreel.4535

then you have to use 3m window weld. the jb weld will not hold which is odd because jb weld works excellent on other things but this time you have to use 3m window weld.4533

from there you can reattach the window elevator frame to the window mount. the power window should work after letting things dry for 24hrs.
