I have a 91 Previa AllTrac. Recently I had the front wheel bearings replaced and my mechanic said that one of the bearings had spun on the spindle. He was unable to locate any replacement hubs for the AllTrac, apparently the front hubs for RWD Previas are all over the place, but nothing for the AllTrac. When he called Toyota, they just laughed. He resourcefully managed to clean up the scoring on his brake lathe and get everything back together for me, but now, a couple months later I am getting some growling from the front bearings again.

I've tried unsuccessfully to locate new AWD front hubs. I have found many places on the internet with hubs for the RWD Previa, but no luck for an AllTrac. I even found a wrecked AllTrac down in Portland, but they will not part it out- have to buy and remove the whole car, and I don't have a car trailer. Not sure I want to drive a couple hours to find out the hubs are shot anyway, the damage appears to be just behind the front wheel. Does anyone have any ideas where I might find new front hubs? My van has around 280K miles, and still works great, I plan on keeping it rolling for many more. I just need to figure out how to deal with this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Ben
