Is the Toyota Previa's shifter supposed to return to the center when moved between 1st and 2nd? It does when shifted between 5th and reverse. There's a spring in the shifter housing that returns the shifter to the center from 5th and reverse, but there is no spring resistance from between 1st and 2nd. I am wondering if a spring is missing from my housing. Does anyone know?
