The brackets that hold my front and rear sway bar to the frame/control arms are gone/rusted out. Instead of buying or making replacement brackets and hardware, I'm thinking of just removing both bars altogether. Any reason not to do this?

Only worry I would have is

The swaybar links (red) have bolts that can work themselves loose. This also can lead to bad wobbles.

I dont have a Jeep anymore.

Van will understeer worse. It'll be more prone to body-roll in corners. Handling on-road will be worse but articulation for off-road will be slightly better.

yea, if you remove them, make sure everything is either removed or tightened down, nothing loose nothing hanging.

The one on the front is pretty pointless, the way the suspension is designed is adequate without a sway bar... the coil over and three link in the back is another story. You may feel that more than the front for sure.

I ripped my front off over a year ago and never looked back.
