Hey folks!
Need help with my heater blowing cold issue. I’ve flushed the system and replaced the hoses for the in and out but for some reason makes no difference. I’ve checked the valve and it works as far as I can see. After a good drive I felt the intake hose to the heater valve and it’s cool to rhetorical touch. So any ideas on what to check next? Possible the valve is stuck inside? Thanks for the input!

Im also in need of advice about the rear heater. When i turn on the AC button in the front the rear air controls work and air comes through the vents. when the AC button is turned off the rear controls stop working so I cant test the rear heater.

I think that is normal, mine does the same. The button in the front switches on/off the entire system. In the rear controls, with the ring around the fan speed setting you can switch on/off the AC function.

Did it ever work? maybe someone clamped or bypassed the heater core because of a leak. These things have a lot of coolant pipes that can rust.
these were mine:

This is a common area of confusion. The push button switch on the dash or the rear controls simply turns on the power to the fan, the fan speed knob obviously turns the speed up and down. As Jan-Willem stated, there is a ring around the fan knob, this turns the A/C off and on and controls the level of A/C cooling. When the A/C knob is turned on, and either fan switch is depressed, the "A/C" portion on the dash switch actually illuminates to let you know the rear A/C is active. The "A/C"and "rear" on the same switch seems to be the source ofmost of the confusion. One other thing to remember, for the rear, only heat comes out the bottom vents and only A/C comes out the top vents. You cannot switch the selector to upper vents, turn the temp control up and expect heat from above. You can however run both heating and cooling at the same time by moving the selector anywhere in between A/C and heat to adjust for a blend of the two which would effectively create dehumidified heating. You would use the temp lever to adjust the heating level of the lower vents and the A/C dial to adjust your cooling of the upper vents to your desired comfort. It's almost better to look at them as two separate systems.
