Cruise Control Actuator - The Saga of Njordi

The cruise control is non-functional and I have reviewed this great thread (https://www.toyotanation.com/threads/cruise-control-fix.1218194/) about fixing the brushes in a non-working actuator. I think my initial problem is that there is non cable connecting the actuator to the arm on the gas pedal. Maybe. I am hoping someone can snap some pictures of the linkage connecting the actuator to whatever it connects to on the vehicle. No diagrams of it in the factory service manual or in the Chiltons. Would appreciate any help.

I did just find a 93 or 94 previa in a local pick and pull, so I may be able to get a replacement if needed.

I'll be under the dash this week or next weekend removing my left strut so I'll see if I can see anything.

It might be helpful if you post a picture of where you THINK the wire should be. I did look around today when I was under the dash but I wasn't 100% sure of what I was looking for.
