Recently my egg started making a wierd noise when the rear fan was on. I dug in and found the issue today. It appears that the connector from the motor to the squirrel cage fan has a rubber surround that has come loose.

Before I started trying to figure out out how to Glue/Silicone or fabricate a new one, I thought I would check and see if anyone else has had this issue.

This is for the Mashuroflroflroflrofla housing and not the Denso.

I wound up re-engineering this with some rubber washers I got from Amazon. The were already 30mm in diameter and 5mm in thickness.
I cut the rubber on edge to fit the metal in the fan assembly with a diamond wheel on a Dremel tool . A 7/16 punch from harbor freight got the ID close enough to sand the rest with a small sanding arbor on the Dremel. Once I was done I used Loctite Fabric and Vinyl adhesive to glue it to the fan and to glue the arbor to the rubber. Time will tell if this is a long term repair. It Does work for now
