can plenum be removed without removing the engine?

Found an 87 donor van and would like to take the plenum. Does anyone know if it can be removed without pulling the whole engine out? Thanks in advance!

The answer is yes. I just removed the plenum/air intake without removing the engine.

There was really only one tough bolt, on the back of the engine near the hose of death, and it wasn't that bad. However, I'm not 100% sure that I can reinstall it with the engine still in, I know, sounds weird. It seems like it will be very difficult to get some of the hoses attached to the air intake and the associated pipes if you don't have all around access like you would if the engine was out. I'm still contemplating whether or not to give it a go. If it interests anyone let me know and I'll post results.
