If you are talking about the mounting holes on the 93 cover that don't reach the reinforcement (I'm not sure what else you might be referring to) there were several of them and multiple other issues....
As I recall I used tan as that was the only color available (I thought at the time - maybe it was?). None of the tabs on mine show when assembled, so color didn't matter. Congrats on the color...
