PCV hose needs to be rated for both oil/fuel resistant and vacuum capable (reinforced).
Heater hose is neither of those things and will cause problems.
Perfect, and thank you! I think I see it on my 87, it seems like the hose connects to a plastic piece on the tranny housing, driver side, near the battery box? Interestingly, on mine, there was a cap...
