What is the difference between the IAC (Idle Air Control?) and the ISCV (Idle Speed Control Valve?)? I'm having issues with a really low idle to where it died within about 10 seconds after starting....

A mechanic also told me that it could come from the Hall effect sensor in the ignition system. It's strange.
I don't have the technical diagrams to verify the location...
