Stereo Wiring Harness Woes

Hey all,

I'm trying to replace my double din stereo on my 93 Previa and I'm running in to one issue in particular. This is a 15 pin harness and there are two green, two red, and two brown wires; I'm not sure which ones to connect to my new harness. It seems like each pair has one wire with a smooth finish and another with a rougher finish. All wires are marked with silver dots. There are also two other harnesses that mostly, but not completely, match the diagram on installdr.com.

How do I get past this conundrum?

it would be far easier to just use a harness adapter cable rather than hacking off the factory connectors, and you can easily revert back to stock when needed

Sounds good, but where do I get one? I have looked, but to no avail.
