Exhaust Gasket

Re: Exhaust Gasket
I think these are the ones for it:

2 separate Toyota doughnut gaskets. I don't think the double one you linked will fit.
These are just the first ones I came across.

Re: Exhaust Gasket
You also want to pick up the nuts required . . . a 'prevailing torque lock' type nut. The nuts are subjected to very high heat and are basically a one time use nut. Toyota had them the last time I needed them. Order a few extras for the next time you may need to change the gaskets.

Re: Exhaust Gasket
I am in the process of doing this (again) on my van. You are also going to need the intake manifold and EGR gasket as well since you will have to remove it to get to the exhaust manifold. You may need the 2 round gaskets that are between the manifold and the exhaust down pipe, they are cheap and might as well do it while it's all apart.

Re: Exhaust Gasket
I bought some simple exhaust gasket sheets from auto store. Traced the pipe and cut. Its hard to cut this material. Don't use anything that will create heat cause it will heat up the middle layer of metal that's in the gasket and make it improbable. Use chisels hammers etc cold equipment to recreate the gasket. Bolt it upand go.
Or order the actual part. Ha ha.
They call me janky for a reason.

Re: Exhaust Gasket
Also did this to throttle body etc! I worked on vintage motorcycles, scooters, mopeds forever!! Learned that if you can't buy a part from 1960s you can recreate them. Look into the thickness of gaskets and find the closest thing and cut away.
The thickness and proper material is of most importance. Grease, oil, gas, heat, water, sharks!! All Have different properties. Do your research and find the one that's suitable for the void. Make sure they can handle the chemicals and create.
Any who don't do it and buy the actual part FIRST! PLEASE!!
