I know the lugnut is toast. One thread is almost completely gone on the stud. It doesn't look promising to me, but what do you think? Can this be made to work again, or is it new stud time? I'm starting a brake job so now is the time to know...
Apparently the tire shop torqued this down cross-threaded last fall when I had new tires mounted. i noticed it was extremely difficult to remove and replace when I had a tire accident in April, but being far from home,overdue for work and the van stranded in a parking lot for a week I had little choice but muscle it back on.
