    Thanks - so play is ok, got it. Will research the boots - last time I checked the suppliers you mention only sold outer boots, nobody sold inners that I could find and no recommended replacement boot...

    got a noisey pump so doing some research. This is one of the more terrifying TVT articles I have come across. Looks like only about 50 things that could snap or otherwise go wrong here - ha!

    Start van, rev to 2k on tach => 14.68

    15 minute drive
    rev to 2K on tach => 14.88

    I think I'll go for just 1 & 2 connectors for now. Leave the injectors in place and just grab those Denso connectors + pigtails you referenced.

    Wondering if there is any way to get some more tension in the (driver) seatbelt retractor.

    Mine works fine - not binding and looks clean inside, just doesn't retract all the way when you unsnap...

    my Toyota dealer says he doesn't have any CVs (inner or outer) - based on previous thread comments it seems like PartsGeek Outers will work but not the EMpi inners......

    Any chance you have this part? - plastic box with big plus sign on it. small bolt inside plastic needs to be securely fastened to the plastic. Mine wiggled free and bolt is floating now.

    Alternator Junction Box (NOT ground)

    Noticed some significant fraying in this cable which led to the alternator. (exhibit A below)
    Disconnected battery.
    loosened the nut to replace cable and the whole bolt assembly popped away from...

    so my last item (there have been a lot) preventing inspection pass is my hi-beam & side headlights...so close but soooo far.

    Low beams and fogs always work fine.
    one side marker was working last...
