We're sorry there are no photos on this post anymore. A few years ago, the original poster removed them ... and in fact de-linked all of their photos from TVT as well as deleting the text content of...
Short answers are no, and no.

We appear to have the gmail issue fixed for now. If your registration is one that did not complete earlier, I have manually re-sent the activation codes.
Thanks for your patience!
Gwen
It has recently come to my attention that gmail is (again) rejecting all email from our domain. I'm trying to get this fixed (again), but this sort of stuff is definitely not my forte and it's a...
Looking at the Previa tag index (linked above in the first post), I see these two tags pertaining to both Previas and electrical issues:
previa electrical diagram
previa electrical problem
...
The tags correspond with the subforums, and with Toyota's nomenclature:
4WD = Van (not Previa)
Previa = Previa
Gwen
Advanced search >> push bar [type that in the "tags" field] >> three threads, yay! :dance2:
If you still have other questions, please post in the thread most relevant to your question.

Yes, front brake parts are 4WD specific (and — fun fact — some 4WD front brake parts are interchangeable with early Previas!).

Check out these threads for more additional remarks on alternatives to the OEM rims for 2WD:

You can find documentation on the heater hose routing for US Vans HERE.
Water (and/or coolant) is circulated through the heater hoses entirely with the water pump, thus moving while the engine is...
Unless you have an LE, the "oil light" is a combination level and pressure alert. The sensors are separate. Check out the search results using the tag oil pressure / oil level combo light (cargo /...
The manual rad will totally fit — identical external dimensions and mounting — but as you state, you'll need a transmission cooler. If I were closer to you, I'd gladly swap you one of my spare A/T...
Codes are the same for 86-87; HERE is the link to PDFs with the diagnostic codes. I'm seeing both a code 10 and a code 11 for the '87.
Gwen
Is this for the '87 Van showing in your profile?
Gwen
There's just one part for both sides; they are interchangeable. Toyota part # 69751-20031; officially called FRONT DOOR LOCKING BUTTON COLLAR HOLDER
Gwen
The 2nd generation (86-89) Vans have a neutral safety start switch — you must hold down the clutch pedal to start the van. It can be in neutral (or any gear); however, you must step on the clutch...
Disabling the "door open" sensor will also disable the dome light, and the courtesy lights on the LE model.
Gwen
To clarify:
• on all '85 vans and on the '86-'89 cargo and DLX trim levels, there is a single warning light that illuminates for either low pressure or low level
• from '86 on, the LE model has...
Not that I have noticed.
Gwen
Good suggestion — I'll see if this software will allow me to do that. I know other forum software can, so probably it will.
Gwen
Yes, 1984-1989 sliders are all interchangeable. However, some have power locks and some do not.
Gwen
First, here's how to search the forum for whatever information you're looking for.
Search tags you'll want to use for your current issue are:
engine rebuild
engine rebuild advice

There are a surprising number of heater core numbers even within years, but none are 4WD-specific. The differences (per Toyota) are "with AAC" and "Cold Spec" aka "Heavy Heater". They all mount...
I doubt the 2nd gen (86-89) vans had either mounting hardware or even mounting points for hardware — the rear floor pan for the 2WD cargo model was entirely different from the passenger vans.

HERE are photos!

Closing thread at request of the OP.

Around? LOL. :dizzy:
The brown/tan set is still here, but I haven't had a chance to verify that their condition is still good.
Gwen
There's an edit window for all posts. Thread titles, however, can only be edited by a Mod or Admin once the post is made. It's just how the software works.
Regarding the title of the thread you...
HERE is the thread with the link to the article that shows the fuse box diagram; the 15A fuse in the separate portion on the right of the block is the EFI fuse.
Gwen
That hose is not shown — there are multiple threads on that topic.
Gwen
"Heater" and "heater core" are the same thing.
Inlet means it's allowing coolant to flow into whatever, in this case, the heater core. Outlet = it's coming out of the heater core.
The radiator...
The upstream sensor by far gets the most abuse (heat, carbon), so replace that first, clear the code and drive.
Gwen
The pdfs are still there and download for me. They won't open as a window in your brower, and you do need Acrobat Reader installed to view the PDFs.
Gwen
Odd. They are NOT displaying for me, quote or original.
Gwen
Click on Advanced Search (upper right of the screen)
In the Tag field, enter "power steering fluid (ATF)"

Some conversion companies did "upgrade" the cornering lights on the cargo vans so that they are in fact operable. IME the conversions don't work exactly the same as OEM, and thus are unlikely to use...
There are four threads that show up when I search using the tag battery (parasitic drain). That seems like the logical place to start your research!
Gwen
There are three threads on the topic of adding a second battery, and quite a bit of useful information among the three:

See THIS THREAD for the part number and a cheaper (but viable) substitute.
Gwen
You need to be at the subforum level (where you can see all the threads currently in that forum). Then you will see the "+ Post New Thread" button at the top. Here's a screenshot of this subforum...
I moved your post to its own thread. Screenshots and instructions to follow ...

Hi George and welcome to TVT!
I've moved your post to the Previa subforum because your '95 Estima corresponds to our Previas, not the 84-89 Vans. That does explain why you're not finding the...
I was thinking the same thing, and will move it now.

LOL, I need patience in 55 gallon drums, delivered! :rol:
It takes quite a few steps to ban these idiots and also track down all the IPs they use and deal with those as well. It's just tedious...
^^^ This is VERY COOL!!!
I hope you will blog more of the details, and also duplicate this post (and add some information if you're so inclined and have the time) in THIS EV Conversion...
No need to use a gasket other than the rubber gasket on the t-stat itself, and Toyota does not call out for another one in the EPC, either. The number given on Rock Auto (1634171010) is the number...
See THIS THREAD. In a nutshell, replacing the O2 sensor should take care of it.
