    Re: Full coolant flush tips?

I just went through this and am fairly confident that my cooling system was fully filled with distilled water. I only got ~6 liters to drain out via the radiator, block, and full overflow reservoir....

Re: Tires for the stock rims on 4WD Van.

I have had my Kenda's since Feb '18. The only issue I've had is that they rub at full turn, never over bumps. The rub is not on the body, but rather a flap of metal on the forward inner part of the...

    Re: 195 75r14's on a 4wd?

After getting the kendas I basically joined Costco for their price on tire mounting, balancing and disposal of old tires - $15 all-in per tire for a total of ~$75.

My 2c: After learning of the Kendas from Roger's post, I bought them last Feb and have driven about 2500 miles. So far they've been super!. Previously I had Mastercraft Glacier Grip II 205x75x14s...
  7. Re: Replacing piston rings on 87 Van LE?

The post-wet test was done immediately after the wet test. I did not start the van between tests. Basically, the wet-test pressures seemed so high to me that I wanted to do the test over. After the...
  8. Re: Replacing piston rings on 87 Van LE?

Hope it’s okay to add my story to this thread:

My van burns oil. I am no professional mech, but like many others here, I enjoy learning as I go. In that spirit, I performed 3 compression tests...

  10. Re: 1985 PARTING OUT. FIRST DIBS PUT IN YOU'RE REQUEST

How about the alternator wiring harness? Does anybody know if that would be the same for 87-89 4wd vans as it was in the 85 vans?

  42. Re: best alternator brand?
