    I would look for vacuum leaks.

    The air valve only provides high idle during warm up.

    Mine never worked. And my van idles smooth.

    Also try jumpering the fuel pump and see if that improves...

    Transfer case output shaft seal R&R

    Has anyone just replaced the seal the T case output side?

    I read rebuild and assumed it was an auto.

    mine idles a few hundred rpm higher when hot than cold. I dont know why.

    I think air is likely due to steam pockets forming near hot spots in the head. The van is not renowned for its flawless cooling system.

    It protrudes near the trailing arm. I would pull new wire.

    I think you are getting steam in the system. The radiator cap keeps the system under pressure which raises the temperature at which the coolant boils.

    I didn't see a Radiator cap replacement...

    I was wrong. The splines mate with a sheet metal arm. Retained by a nut / nylock.
    Out comes the gauge cluster.

    The wiper motor needs a M8 x 1 nylock nut.
    Rare as my local fastner suppliers...

    Pin 4 of the motor is energised when you switch the wipers to off. This allows the motor to get to the home position.
    I would unplug the wiper motor and see if the fuse still pops.
