Aftermarket or other suitable antenna?
My antenna broke a long time ago and I have not been able to find a good replacement. Does anyone know of an aftermarket antenna that will work or some other vehicle with a compatible one I might have better luck finding in a junkyard?

LOL!!! Naw man I can't roll like that. Actually I got lucky and picked one up in good condition. But still interested in finding one of those hard rubberized black ones that can fit.

Re: Aftermarket or other suitable antenna?
Why not just get a new antenna? MSRP is like $70 but the discount sites have them for around $50...........at least they used to. Last one I bought was 2 years ago, so they could have sold out since then. It's Toyota part #86300-28010. Tim

Re: Aftermarket or other suitable antenna?
Thanks for the part number, but that's more then what i want to spend on that kind of antenna. I picked up a OEM used one for $5. But I just like the looks of the short black ones so I'm gonna continue to look for that kind as well.

Re: Aftermarket or other suitable antenna?
It seems most aftermarket antenna masts come with adapters to fit the piece that holds the coax onto the van.
If mount to the van looks good, and the cable going to the stereo looks good, just get a replacement mast and carefully bend it.
Cheaper than OEM, tidier than coat hanger.
