Front Passenger Side Wheel squeals around Turns

    Hello All,
When I bought the van about 1000 miles ago it had brand new Tires. The vans front right wheel is squealing around turns and tire is wearing quickly on the outer edge. However, front drivers side is perfect. I am thinking the bearings need to be replaced and the alignment done.

Has anyone has had a similar experience or would like to share some advice?
Is there a parts number list for this job so I can order toyota OEM?

    Thanks!

Definitely check your bearings but this sounds more like an alignment issue or possibly worn or bent suspension or steering parts. You're dragging the outer edge of one tire which is causing the squeal and the accelerated wear either due to the toe being out of adjustment or something bent or worn allowing the tire to follow an incorrect arc when you turn the wheel. Bearings are easy to check. Put the front end on jack stands and spin the tire listening for excessive and/or abnormal noise then grasp the tire at 12 and 6 o'clock and rock it back and forth. There should be little to no play here. You can also check for steering wear by doing the same thing at 9 and 3 o'clock. If there is play it's helpful to have a helper watching underneath to see where it's at.

Funny you mention bent/broken steering parts. I had to weld the steering rack bracket back to the cross member. Hopefully an alignment will stop the squealing...

I thought i was having ball joint issues, but when I got under there I noticed this.

Here are some before and after. I did my best to have the bracket in the same location before it broke. The weld goes all the way around the bracket.

My apologies. I should have thought of that as I had the same problem. I must have remembered it subconsciously. lol My symptoms were different though. My van got really squirrelly and the steering wheel kept getting further and further off center. I caught mine before it broke all the way though.
