My full LED upgrade (exterior & interior)

The requirements for my interior LED swap was that the whiteness would have to fall towards the warm end of the spectrum (<5,000 Kelvin). A few years ago I picked up 48-SMD LEDs off of Ebay for the front and rear dome lights and have been thoroughly pleased ever since. I also decided to add courtesy lights on the step sill just for some added luxury and safety . Those were marine LED bulbs which are IP65 rated. As you can probably guess I am generally not a fan of blue-white or high Kelvin LEDs as they are harsh on the eyes and simply tacky in the looks department. The exception to my rule is the instrument cluster and HVAC which I will post pictures of later in this thread.

Next up is the instrument cluster and HVAC (not shown). All white SMD-LEDs used where appropriate. I didn't use them for the warning signs because the intensity of the white LEDs made the translucent red screen appear pink.

And finally, the exterior indicators/turn signals, reverse lights, and brake lights!! The intensity of the exterior LED bulbs are incredibly bright. I can almost drive in reverse at a 20mph speed with the output provided by the SMD LED reverse bulbs. I made sure these puppies were one of the brightest on the market! These aren't the best pictures (smartphone) but they are still somewhat accurate representations as to how bright they are. **Note: you will need to buy a flasher relay to fix the 'hyper-flash issue since your oem relay will think you have a bulb burnt out with the very low current draw required by the LEDs.**

The brake lights look too bright but are perfect in the flesh and really provide an even light spread inside the red plastic housings. (Note: brakes not applied, just parking lights turned on)

License plate warm SMD-LEDs are bright enough to cast light onto the ground. They are perfect.

Facing the car, left is regular incadescent bulb. Right is a super bright yellow SMD-LED bulb. Image taken when bulbs flashed in hazard mode. Note the ground/surrounding area lit up nearest the SMD-LED bulb vs. incandescent.

Reverse lights... my favorite!!!!!!!!! SUPER DUPER BRIGHT, I could help Caltrans with their work if I left the lil' buggers dangle out of their housings. These bulbs were not cheap so you really get what you pay for.

Fixing an intermittent front dome light issue. It was a corroded door jamb switch that just needed a good sanding of the copper contacts!

Yeah where did you get all the bulbs. Also what are you using for flooring in there?
