1989 GXL Liteace 4WD diesel

Hi all,

I am needing some 'rapid advice'. I had to sell my old tarago due to money difficulties(wish i never had), however we currently have a small hatchback with one toddler and another one due .....in two days! The hatchback is unfortunately way too small. Tomorrow i am going to inspect a Liteace diesel GXL 1989(jap import) with 92k on the clock.....are there any big no no's with these or things i should be particularly aware of? I thought about getting a more modern run around but i simply can't resist this one.

If the timing belt hasn't been changed, then I'd do that first thing. Should be done every 100k km.
