    Part numbers

    Hi all.

It seems a lot of folks are active with their townies nowadays. I thought it would be cool to have a thread to keep track of the part numbers people have used successfully. Anything from windshield wipers to injection pumps. Maybe post the part numbers in a color other than black so they are easy to find in the posts. I'll start:

    Timing Belt: Toyota 13568-69066

    Fuel Filter: Fram 4922

    Oil filter: Napa 1368
    Fram PH6357

    Thermostat: Toyota 90916-03046

    Radiator Cap: Toyota 16401-64501

Hopefully this proves to be helpful!

    Matt

    Also compatible are:

    Fuel Filter - Wix 33138

    Oil Filter - Wix 51368

There's also a NAPA air filter that works with a .25" spacer under it, but I can't recall the #. I'll find it...

    Hey Guys!

Any of you know the part number for our air filters? I know the toyota part is 17801-54050, but I cannot find a Napa or Wix equivalent. Any help here would be awesome...Thanx!

    Re: Part numbers

Danny I used the Napa FIL 6225 air filter, but it's about 3/8" short so I bought a 1/4" thick sheet of foam rubber, cut donuts for the top and bottom as spacers. Works great.

Hey JDM VANMAN! Many thanks for this! I'm going to do a little digging to see if I can find an equivalent size/spec filter and report back. Appreciate your time

I found a goldmine of parts on here. Maybe easier than hunting through Japanese auction sites for some?

    Re: Part numbers

Using the Japanese GS Yuasa battery that was in my van as a guide I was able to find what I think is pretty much an exact replacement at wall-Mart. The Everstart Maxx group 27. It's 810 CCA, and the dimensions are almost exactly the same.

    radiator hoses for 2ct

I want to replace some of the radiator hoses on my townace. Is there an easy way to look up all the part numbers? a good diagram? Are auction sites the best place to source these?

Did you try inputting your chassis code on toyodiy?

    Re: Part numbers

I found a site that has downloadable manuals at www.qualityservicemanual.com. The download process was a bit cumbersome but, for $19.99, you get an electronic Toyota service manual that covers the Ace vans and an excerpt that covers the diesel engines.

    Air Filter

I found an air filter that works.

    STP SA3902

It's just a tad short so I put a strip of insulating foam on the lid to make a good seal.

Has anyone found brake pads, shoes, rotors or drums in the US?

Here is a link to the 1C, 2C and 2C-T engine repair manual (online):

    https://cardiagn.com/toyota-1c-2c-2c...ir-manual-pdf/

No part#s here but I thought would be useful anyway.

Danny at Vanlife Northwest (where I purchased my 1992 TownAce) replaces all his van radiator caps with this one: NAPA 7031695.

Is the oil filter listed above for a 2C-T?
