After Market Cold Start Injector Bypass/Manual Switch

Since owning my van I have been replacing broken, old, and brittle engine electrical connections. The next one I am replacing is the Cold Start Injector connection on the front of the Intake Manifold. RockAuto's webpage has a Cold Start Valve connector, is this the same connector that attaches to the cold start injector?

Also, the PO bypasted the cold start injector by cutting the injector from the harness. The injector is now wired to the fuse box, grounded, and a manual press button was installed. My question is should the old wiring that is part of the harness be grounded as well? Right now the severed end of the harness is wrapped in electrical tape.

    Thanks All!

The cold start injector uses a standard old Bosch style injector connector (readily available at any parts store). As for your hack job, I hate stuff like this. All I can say is to try to undo everything that guy did and put it back the way Toyota had it. Tim
