    Drum Shoe Discrepancy Drama

Tried to replace shoes and drums today and 2 different pairs of shoes (ac delco and duralast 🙄 ) were incompatible with the emergency brake hardware. Is this one of those parts you have to use OEM for?
Anyone else had this issue? See photo:

I had similar issues when doing my drums recently. I bought a pair of the O'Reilly's brand brake shoes and saw they already had those pins pressed in. I just knocked them out with a hammer and put the pins from the old shoes in since I knew they worked.

I had also purchased a pair of Wagners from rockauto and didn't appear to be the right size (all of the shoes were *that* much longer) but weren't worth the hassle of returning.

Thanks, I thought about switching the pins, sometimes I am too cautious I guess. I will try that next time.

The web plate(The part the pin is pressed through.) on the new shoe is noticeably thinner as well.
