the fuel system shouldnt be too complicated as its a low pressure system with no electrical pre pump. all you need is a line in to the fuel filter and pump and a return back, the engines themselves are much simpler than the fuel injected ones and will run with just a feed to the glow plugs and a feed to the fuel cut solenoid. good luck with it!
Did you ever do this? I have a bad head gasket and I’ve been interested in a diesel conversion since day 1 of ownership. I’ve never done an engine swap but if it’s possible and not too crazy I could probably figure it out.

Spacecruiser, at a 6100 ft elevation, you may want to reconsider the C and look at the Turbo version of the 2C. Then It gets a bit more complicated.

yes it's in and running lots of fabing on the good any 2c manuel trans bell housing will fit up to 5 speed in van don't know about automatic yes it was a bit crazy but if u like this kinda stuff go for it. Always more to do started winch bumper but busy with outher stuff. Keep ON VAN MEN!

the corolla is a sidewinder [front wheel drive ] probably good parts but u need rear wheel drive or 4 wheel drive mine was out of truck[ lite ace]not sure if that's what's called .JDM I got it on E BAY. A 3C would be a good one.
