1986 Toyota van starts/ idles rough when warm. Any ideas?

I have a 1986 Toyota cargo van. Starts right up cold and runs great. Recently after it has been driven, parked, and then started again my van will idle very rough until I start driving again and then everything seems fine. Does anyone have any ideas about what this might be? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Danny

My suggestion is to SEARCH THE FORUM using TAGS with terms related to your issue, such as idle issues or heat soak / hot soak. That might give you the information you need right away. Or, you may not find the exact answer, but you're going to find at least one thread describing the same symptoms under similar conditions. If the latter is the case, please post in that thread. This keeps the forum organized, and more important for you, posting in existing threads alerts previous posters in that thread, which gets you maximum attention for your specific issue.

Thank you Gwen! I think heat soak is exactly what is happening
