    Parting out 87 Van

    Hi all,

I have an 87 Van (Passenger) that has been a donor of several parts to my primary van. Our van is almost finished and it is time to get the remaining parts to good homes. If anyone is interested in a part, please let me know and we can make arrangements if it is still available. Thanks!

    Erik

Do you still have plastic panel that inserts into the door that sits below sliding door windows? And uncracked center console piece?

Yes, I’m so glad you have them just the top part of the panel for sliding door and also center panel. I sent you a dm. I’m interested in both parts

    Re: Parting out 87 Van

I’m going to have to look over my van and see what I may need, but off the top of my head I know a few things.

Window regulators for both driver and passenger side.

The little plastic door handle for the interior of the front doors.

It’s probably prohibitively expensive to ship, but I would love to get the driver side interior door panel as well. Both the top and bottom parts. I’d take the passenger side too while I’m at it. That is, if they’re in decent shape.

I’m also looking for the combination switch that has the turn signal, lights, wipers control on it. BD2FEDAD-6ABF-4721-AE7E-223176A457DF.jpg

    Hi MagicMan,

Unfortunately tail lights are sold and the windshield trim is in rather rough shape, I don't think you would want it.

Is there any chance you will be in the SF Bay area in the next few weeks? I'd love to get you all those parts but the larger panels might be too expensive to ship.

I can definitely get you the interior door handles and the combination switch. Not sure how to remove the window regulators but if you know how I can do it. They seem pretty embedded in the doors!

    Hey, I'm local to you.

Interested in the HVAC control panel with buttons and the trim around the shifter:

I would be interested in inside door panels, rear door lock & mechanism, arm rests, front dome lights and the console if they have not already been sold. I will be glad to pay whatever shipping is.

    Hey BartMaster1234!

You can definitely have the trim around the shifter. HVAC panel was used in my build sorry!

Damn that HVAC panel is elusive. The Toyota Pickup one is different, as is the 4Runner, and the Cressida which are the closest matches. The Cressida is almost identical except some things are routed differently.

The one we have is held together with metal strapping and wood glue.

    Re: Parting out 87 Van

I could use the read hatch, sliding door, and rear bench seat if they're in good condition. And the strap that holds the seat in place to get you under the hood. I imagine slapping them on a pallet and freighting to Dallas wouldn't be cheap, but if you're willing, PM me prices shipped and prices picked up? The colors are a match to mine, so if I get my headgasket done in the next few weekends, I think I could justify a road trip/campout/parts pickup. And if they didn't go with the regulators, I could use the driver side window switch (whole thing).

    Hi Erik,

Can you post or PM me some photos of the front seat and passenger seat? I'm in Sacramento area, and willing to come pick them up if they're in good condition.

    Thanks
