    1993 Previa AC

I am trying to do an evac/refill on an old R12 Previa A/C but not sure about the correct hi/low ports. The diagram from the service manual looks like the low side is the blue capped one, however the red capped port is the smaller of the 2 ports which im told should be the low side.

I also bought some R12 adapters for the manifold gauge kit but only one of them seems to fit (the blue capped side in the picture). Does anyone know what size adapter is needed for the smaller side?

The small diameter tubing should be the high pressure line and the large tubing is the low pressure. Think of it like this, all the volume of the large diameter tubing gets squeezed into the small diameter tubing and increases the pressure. As far as the adapters go, I got nothing.
