Anyone got rid of their egr? Any kits available or will i need to fabricate a plate myself?
There's pretty much nothing aftermarket for these vans. However I'm hoping that more and more folks on this forum will start offering up their mod instructions and designs for upgrades!

Did you ever go about finding or making one?
very easy to make one or have one made. Making one for my 2ct engine cost about $2 in steel and another $3 in bolts/washers/spacer. Just have to use a spacer as the studs are a bit too long for the new blocking plate on my engine. $69 is a lot of money for a plate. I would guess any metal fab person could cut you out one of those for less.
You may need a new gasket(s). I used ultra red hi temp RTV and waiting to see if it springs a leak. Couple hundred miles in and no issue yet.
