    Low Startup RPM

    Hey TVT,

    I have been trying to figure this out for awhile now, but when I start my '89 LE, the tac doesn't surpass 1K. I'm also having slightly extended cranks with warm startups, like after running into the store. I think the two might be related, but I'm out of ideas as to the cause. It idles fine at 750rpm, and in gear it drops to around 500/650, kinda a mixed bag as to where it'll sit when I'm at a stop light. Any suggestions?

    Have you ever cleaned the throttle body or changed the TPS? I would also go through and make sure you have good spark plugs,cap,rotor,coil. I had a very similar issue recently and this fixed the problem, but I also didn't know the last Time those had been replaced.
