    Oil type?

    Been using conventional 5w30, I think this was good for a recent road trip to colder temps but burnt about a quart over 3000 miles. Any recommendations for viscosity? I live in socal so never gets too cold. thinking something more viscous will help burn less. Thanks!

    That is a normal amount of oil for a brand new Toyota engine. Thats what the manual says
