Nope. Long been discontinued and safe lite windshield company no longer supplies windshields for vehicles older than 30 years. So good luck finding a new windshield

say what?! 1st of all the windshield is glued in, there is no weather stripping...and safelite is the only glass company? many people have replaced their windshields, recently...and for reasonable prices.

first of all there is no weather strip in the sense of a rubber piece per se but there is molding trim that goes around the glass and that is not available anymore. I recently spoke with a fellow vanner who could not source a windshield from any company in southern California and has gone on to week 5 and still no glass. So by all means you can say what? to your hearts content I don't mind lol

a quick google search reveals windshields in 2 california cities, im sure theres alot more, but are you in Holland? the brand of windshield that some have gotten is Fuyao i think, made in china, i imagine theres supply chain issues like everything else these days. im sure you can find one. if you meant to say windshield trim, then youll have to find used. the windshield gets glued in with little clips that hold the trim. usually those break or can rot, but pretty sure those are available too and get replaced with the new windshield..if your glass is good but is leaking, you can try to carefully remove trim and try some sort of sealant...good luck, owning a classic car can be challenging sometimes but anything is possible

Replaced the windshield in my van late last year with Safelite. Absolutely no problems. Set up the appointment online, took two days for the windshield to be shipped to them. In fact, I was given a choice. I could either get bronze sun tint, or blue sun tint.

Yes, I replace my windshield also here in Fresno California just last summer. The glass was in stock and installed by Los Amigos Glass for under $200

    Thanks guys,

My fault, I thought there was a weatherstrip / windowrubber on my 1986 Van LE. Now i can use polyurethane, thats even better!

heres another brand of windshield, i bought 3 out of phoenix, the shop said theres a few other manufacturers as well...as long as there's a demand, im sure theyll be made. covid backups and supply chains are probably to blame right now...
