    Broken steering shaft

Having trouble a photo but my Toyota van was towed by NYC Sanitation after the plates were stolen just got it back. The shaft the runs from the central arm linkage into steering gear box was snapped. Does anyone have a name of the part or a solution to repairing it? All help will be appreciated thank you

Yeouch! That's a bummer, wonder how that was broken. I believe that is called the Steering Bevel Gear Assembly, part numbers depend if you do or don't have power steering; someone else should be able to fill in some info on how to get one though depending on what else was damaged relating to it. Best of luck to ya mate.
