FS 1984 2WD Vanwagon, 5-speed manual LE. $8000 OBO
Ive decided to sell my loved 1984 Vanwagon. This car has always been in CO .Ive had it a year and have had a lot of work done to it to make sure its tip top (list below). I am not the most mechanically-minded soul, so Im seeing if someone who is would love to enjoy this guy. It has 162,500 original miles on it. I got it from a widow who kept it stored in garage for many years. The body has a few slight flaws a very little rust around a fender. The seats are in perfect condition except a small dime-sized spot on the drivers seat.It comes with an extra manual transmission and extra spare tire, uncracked extra dashpad, as well as odds and end parts. I also have a custom bed that folds up that can be put in easily for camping. I'll also include a cool wooden camp box with the deal. It runs very well. I just dont have the know-how to fix things myself and so maintenance is more expensive for me. I have all the maintenance records from the original owner as well as what Ive had done to it. Here are the myriad of things that have been done so far:
Rebuilt transmission-has less than 2000 miles on it.
New:
transmission seal and drain plug
Rear main seal
new clutch
pilot bearing
pressure plate
shifter cable
new alternator
starter
battery
spark plugs
rear brakes, resurfaced drums, brake shoes
washer pump
heater blower fan
thermostat
radiator cap and gasket
valve cover gasket
front sway bar link bushings, repaired right bar bracket
drive shaft u joints
right lower ball joint
rear pinion seal
gas tank flush and boil, seals
Just thought those in this forum would appreciate this van so wanted to post it here first.
I apologize for the way the photos uploaded. Cant seem to straighten them out. but if interested, Im happy to respond with photos and more information via email.

If you spray paint the front bumper it would look alot better. Napa custom makes paint according to codes, or you can just take your van there and do a best guess. I did that and it worked great.
