    Reverse lights stay on

Reverse lights are on whenever the running lights are on. I’m assuming this is a reverse light switch issue, but can’t locate it. It’s on the transmission, I’m also assuming. I couldn’t find it in the shop manual. Anyone know where this is? Thanks

I would kill for a wiring diagram to help you, but my best guess is: If it is not in reverse, but they only come on when you turn on the running lights, something is probably crossed on the reverse light circuit with something in the running light circuit. Try checking around your (For the Non-LE Vans) taillight wiring, or (For LE Vans) your reverse lamp wiring on the rear hatch for starters, then chase the wiring up to the combi switch.

Do you have a trailer connector with reverse lights? Then maybe the two wires touch.

Try putting it in reverse and see if the reverse lights get brighter. If they do, then you likely have an issue with your taillight ground.
