3CT Townace Help with NORMAL DIESEL SOUNDS needed ....

Hi All,
This is my first diesel and I don't know what is normal. When I apply just a slight amount of throttle --like coasting to a stop--I get a mild rattle chatter out of the engine. As soon as I apply more throttle it goes away and sounds very smooth and even. At freeway speeds and going up hills , all sounds very smooth. Just a chatter at low throttle openings. Kind of reminds me of every UPS truck I have ever heard.
I have been told this is normal small diesel turbo stuff and don't worry about it.

So maybe you all can share your experience ...
