Strong rumbling from front wheel
My van got towed a few months ago by the city. It’s a long story and It wasn’t running at the time. I got it back on a flatbed and then it sat for a while. It’s running again (bad igniter). Tried to drive it and it has a really bad right front wheel rumble now. I drove it about a block and brought it back. It sounds like the wheel bearings have gone really bad, but louder than any bad bearings I’ve ever heard. I jacked up the front end and I can’t rotate the right front wheel at all by hand. The left is fine. I have no idea how they towed it. It’s a 4wd manual with manual locking front hubs.
Does the fact that I can turn the other front wheel rule-out anything as far as damage to the front axels or differential? Do these vans even have a front differential? Thanks

Re: Strong rumbling from front wheel
They do have front differentials. You'll have to tear down the hub or differential until you find the problem.

Have you checked for brake drag? Try removing the caliper snd see if the tire will rotate freely. Also check to see if the dust shield is bent and rubbing on the rotor.
