Difficulty removing lockset from sliding rear door handle
Hi All,
In an effort to replace the sliding door handle on my 96 previa, I've had quite a bit of trouble in swapping the lockset from the old handle to the new one. I removed the silver U-shaped clip in the photo below (I took the photo before I removed it).

I couldn't find any other instructions in the Haynes manual or online, just "remove retaining clip and then remove the lockset".
It seemed very stuck in the old door handle. I did finally shimmy it out, but now the key won't function in the lock, and I fear I've broken it. I may consult a locksmith to take a look at the lockset. So a couple of questions -
1) Is there a step I'm missing in removing the lockset from the handle?
2) If I did in fact break the lockset, do folks have any info on sourcing a new one?
Thanks!
