  1. Re: Engine Service Connector not working - can't set proper ignition timing

Update, transmission seems to be performing much better after changing the fluid and filter. It shifts more smoothly at the usual RPMs again and engages at lower RPMs in reverse like it used to. The...

  4. Re: Engine Service Connector not working - can't set proper ignition timing

Got codes 22 and 51. Am I still looking at TPS replacement or maybe something else?

    Thanks Tim!
  6. Re: Engine Service Connector not working - can't set proper ignition timing

There is no check engine light on, could it still be sending a code?
  7. Re: Engine Service Connector not working - can't set proper ignition timing

Re: Van Interior, Chairs, AC parts

It's a conversion van so it has one aftermarket rear bench seat that bolts down. It's been outside and would need to be steam cleaned or reupholstered.

    Re: Front brake upgrades

What's the best brake pad for a stock 4wd setup? Is there a ceramic pad that will fit? I've already got slotted disks, but I'm having trouble finding a good performance pad.

    Thanks,

Timsrv, I can't tell who made my core. If it came from Autozone and it's not a Denso it's not worth rebuilding again right? Even with Denso parts?

Thanks, that was my thought too but I just had my alternator rebuilt 2 months ago by a highly regarded shop in Brooklyn. I'm taking it back to them in the next couple days to see what they say.

I've been going through lots of alternators, once or twice a year. Would this be a result of a bad fusible link?
